EVENT NAME

NCEM Musical Play in a Week 2010!

DESCRIPTION
Oakapple Day

It is May 1660. The Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell, is dead, and King Charles II is returning to England to claim the throne. A group of actors and musicians are rehearsing for the celebrations when they uncover a plot to kidnap the king! Can they reach Charles in time to save him from his fate?

An opportunity for 9-14 year-olds to work with music and theatre professionals on every aspect of a production, during five days (10.00am-4.00pm) of unbridled creativity! The week culminates in an evening performance for family and friends at 7.00pm Friday 20 August.
