A1 Theatre Productions have been fortunate to find the idyllic setting for their
latest production of Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood". Performing in the shadow
of York Minster, beneath the backdrop of a glorious willow tree, the production
can be found in the Minster Residents Gardens throughout the final four evenings
in July.
The classic "play for voices" captures the dreams (both waking and sleeping) of
the inhabitants of Llareggub, a tiny fishing village in South Wales. The company
of 9 play a myriad of 50 characters between them not to mention a comprehensive
selection of live sound effects from whistling kettles to purring cats!
Tickets are available from York Minster box office on 0844 939 0015 or at
