Picturehouse Cinemas can now enable cinema-goers to see live opera for the first
time from the world-renowned Glyndebourne Festival Opera – The Rake’s Progress
will be beamed live from Sussex to cinemas around the country on Saturday August
21. In addition, pre-recorded productions of two further Glyndebourne
productions – Billy Budd and Hansel and Gretel – will be available for
cinema-goers on Tuesday August 24 and Thursday August 26 respectively.
